I got to practice my strobes again a couple of weekends ago with this beautiful model. I processed some of my black and whites to get that retro grainy film-look. The make up and hair of course is inspired by Brigitte Bardot. I think I need to add more noise to some of them, but I like them just fine as they are. What do you think?
It’s been a crazy and hectic month and more craziness to come until the end of March. I look forward to the end of this madness. But here’s my form of therapy to save my sanity, these photos I worked on tonight.

Sam, these are smoking. and beautiful. I think the 3rd one is my favorite. I think they look great without grain, but I can see where it would really add to the mood. the beauty of digital is you can do it both ways. beautiful model. I am sure she is thrilled with your work!

Dear Sam.
The high-key bw are so nice!
I think of large prints when I look at them.
You printed any of them yet?
Nice to see your trigger finger in action these days, dear.
Peace and happiness in every breath, in every single heartbeat.
Best Wishes

Oh yes, the grain.
You know me, Sam, I am not used to think of grain
In these cases, I do not think grain would enhance the feel or mood of the photographs. Then again, it`s all about personal style and the viewers will react to them in their own way one way or the other.
I think you have successfully created a very nice expression with the light and bw conversion. The photographs speak for themselves.
Great work, Sam!
